Not sure if i got the right forum for this thread ( for i placed it in dynamic events ) but what i wanna tell is this.
So far most our travels and big boss event are always on land. Sometimes we travel trough the water for a heart quest, certain dungeon water combat, or a small boss event, but never ever was there a epic big water boss that would reward a chest or bonus chest.
Isn’t it time to add a area were 95% of the area is the deep mysterious sea. It would give me as a player more excitement traveling underwater with dangerous big sea creatures swimming everywhere around me. giving you character a kind of flashlight to illuminate the dark area for a gloomy scary effect.
Having little camps a little below the sea level for merchants and a mysterious city way deep in sea for puzzles and big events would be very nice. don’t forget in the early gw 2 trailers we saw a little glimpse of a big ‘dragon’ passing players while they were in the water. Who knows they might add it later. Even a mini game in the water would be awesome
But we gotta make water battles fun since people in WvW tend to avoid the big scales water combat. I can admit that most people don’t even know how to play good water combat since i did a 1 v 3 with a non lvl 80 character and still won, let people motivate to make a legendary water weapon to show off. Getting a bit tired with all the twilight clones running around. Reminds me of the gw 1 monks with obsidian gear and chaos gloves.
You either die a underpowered class or you live long enough to be the overpowered one.
When i read the title, i was assuming you wanted casinos, which would be cool if they’re going to saturate the game with RNG anyway. I think you’re looking for “Atlantis”, not “Atlantic City”.
Indeed it is much needed, people let their underwater weapons, skills etc slide. And underwater combat is a fascinating addition that needs to be better utilised.
