after obtaining the Carapace Chest Box through the achievement, the Bandit Crest NPC does not offer me the choice to buy another for bandit crests. (all 5 other boxes are available for barter, as they all unlocked correctly in the NPC’s menu.)

Someone told me when I asked about it in map chat that the remaining coat box can only be acquired after killing the vinewrath boss and looting the reward chest (and it’s RNG btw).

So in other words, they want us to grind for it.

But that wouldn’t surprise me.

At least the Kidney and Eye are only one body part each…

Yeah, I’ve been just listening to music and fighting that thing over and over again. I LOVED the update otherwise, but this is such a damper. I have 4k crests I can’t use to get the silly box.

Apparently one chest box is guaranteed when you kill the boss for the first time.

Yeah, this RNG game is annoying me now. I fought the boss a ton of times today and not one box other than the one from the achievement. I have all the achievements and everything but can’t get the last two chest boxes.

Have now tried 10 times without any luck (I’ve gotten 10 nightmare keys from it). This is really annoying. I’m not trying to say I’m owed a chest after x tries, but it would be nice if there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Gambler’s fallacy and all, nothing promises I won’t be trying this all week.

Odd. The second time I was in a zone that succeeded in killing it, I got a second box from it. RNG never favors me…

I must be using black magic.

Yeah I also tried it a couple of times and still didn’t get it (not counting the one you get from the achievement when you kill it the first time).
I heard that it can also drop from the Bandit Chests (not 100% sure yet). So I went and opened 30 (cause I have a lot of crests and can’t buy the coat is annoying as hell). But so far in those 30 that I opened I only got the Boot Box… yey.

9 tries so far and no chest box. Really annoying RNG :S
