Could somebody tell me, when will the christmas patch begin?

The Wintersday Patch should be the one on December 16th.

I hope they do not reuse last years like they did with Halloween…

Sad thing is with no new content I will very likely be playing a different game that provides new festival content each year, I am sure I am not alone in that.

So you would rather have them focus on new releases twice a year (or whenever there are festivals) than having releases twice a month?

I prefer that Anet will focus on the living story and keep the good quality it have now and the length it had on the start of season two.
I like them to create areas as good as glint’s lair.

Regarding wintersday content Anet will give us i hope that thy will combine last year and two years ago content. or even just use the content from two years ago.
On other thought it will be great if thy will combine the living story with wintersaday and create a unique content.

Arena Net did fine adding festival content along with Living Story content in the first year of release.

X-mas is always a reuse from last year: same gummy tree with the same decoration, same relatives, same songs, same menue, same useless gifts…

I guess Wintersday will bring us new rewards and collections.

Wintersday started on Dec 10th last year, so I could see it coming out next week to keep it seperate from the next living story update

They already announced the Dec 16th as release date for Wintersday. The only open question is if Episode 8 will be released at the same date or somewhere in January.
