i really like the art work for the new halloweeny lions arch, will we get that as wallpaper? because all i see on the patch page is the old one from a previous year

Seconded! I love the new loading screen for Lion’s Arch this year, its leaps and bounds better than last year’s wallpaper (and among one of the best they’ve done period, IMO). Please give us the LA loading screen as wallpaper for this year.

That works to some degree, but then you don’t get a full screen desktop (you get the black boxes on the top and bottom as well as the icons for LA at the bottom). And if you were to try and cut the black and resize the image it would get distorted. If they actually released it as a proper desktop you’d get the full thing in good resolution.
