how does the buff (Tuning) work ?
Once you complete the breach the extractor will atune to the boss you killed. Heading to the lane corresponding with the same boss will net you 3 organs provided all lanes successfully complete the final event without failing to kill its corresponding bosses. Since there is no Husk Lane, completing the event while under the Husk boss atunement guarantees you 3 Husk organ parts regardless of which lane you choose or whether a lane fails to kill a boss on the first attempt provided you successfully complete the event. So if it’s badges or Husk organs you need, you’ll want to fight the Husk boss during the breach. Note: the Tunning buff is on a timer. If for example the timer runs out due to many carrier deaths you’ll get nothing despite successful completion of the event. Atunement to the Husk boss will net you 100 badges in organs alone per event completed.

I don’t think this is how it works. Just now, I had husk attunement during the completion of a successful Vinewrath, and did not get 3 Husk Parts, nor 100 extra Crests. I think the Tuning is only for clarity to let people know which part they will receive from Breaches.
Restore that which was lost. And all shall be as one.”
Tuning is basically just a restriction to stop the players that did the following:
1. Use 1 Extractor
2. Go into one Breach boss, tag it.
3. Leave and go to the next Breach boss, tag it.
4. Repeat for all the Breach bosses.
Because you get an extracted part regardless of whether or not the boss is successfully killed, this meant that the player could leech off all four boss kills without really doing anything to contribute to the fight at all.
You can still get multiple parts per Breach if your group kills its boss early, and then you use a second extractor before going to help at another boss. The extractor will now only give you one Part at a time, no matter how many bosses you tag.
You already had to reapply the extractor since the buff wore out when the first champ you had tagged was killed, so nothing changed there.
I also thought the new buff was to restrict boss-hopping, but it doesn’t seem to affect that at all.

There is a change, The tuning makes it so you won’t get a part drop if the boss that just died wasn’t the one you have damaged last.
So, tag troll at amber, go to blue, tag thrasher, troll dies, thrasher dies – you get only the thrasher piece, don’t need to reapply extractor. Tag troll at amber, troll dies, go to red, tag husk, husk dies – you get troll and husk pieces (if you remembered to reapply extractor after troll died). Basically, you can still hop between bosses, but you have to make sure the previous one died before you engage the next one.
This works correctly for underground bosses. With the Vinewrath champs? Not so much.

Ok thanks! Didn’t know that
Wouldn’t that still include a loophole, like:
Tag amber, run to blue, wait for amber to die before engaging. Reapply extractor, tag blue and run to indigo.
In any case this would maybe allow you to get 3 parts at best. Better than tagging all 4 I guess.

Yes, that might still be possible – except you’d have to know in advance in what order the bosses will be dying. And since the bosses are easier to kill with less people around, if too many players assume a certain boss will go down last, and go tag other bosses first, that left out mob may well be the first to finish.
