Highly unlikely. Judging by the previous AMA, they seem keen to keep LS maps as snapshots in time which make it vastly easier on them developing them. I’m not sure what advantage adding more water brings to the map either.

Also bear in mind that even in a year or 2, new players will still be diving into the map for the first time, so changing it wouldn’t fit for their story either.

If the lake fills up again it will take days to fill, leaving our Royal friend to try to float for a long period of time.

Someone should mail him the plans for a rat bladder flotation device.
