Guild Wars 2

There are a few windows I believe could host a few good stories apart from the dragons, but they may include the dragons if it’s plausible.

1. Civil War
The renegades and Seperatists haven’t been sitting on their kitten while the dragons steal the show. They still very much want the charr and humans te seperate and are ready to start some fire over this.

2. Victims of Thaumanova
How about a thaumanova survivor who blames the peacekeepers for the incident for funding and now wants revenge on the council by terrorizing rata sum.

3. Blood Stones
Now we can’t go forgetting about these. 5 huge stones which caused pretty much all trouble in the world apart from the dragons themselves. If anything, these chunks of stones could and should be the main villain.

4. Multiple dragon attacks (so I’m falling back to this, after all)
Just because mordremorth is rampaging about slowly waking up, doesn’t mean that Primordius and Jormag arent doing anything. How about an attack on two fronts for once? this isn’t an anime where every villain takes a turn.

5. Centaurs
Don’t have to say much here, I doubt these guys suddenly don’t want their land back anymore

Well we’ve been getting hints of the Mursaat and the White Mantle in LS2 a lot. It’s a safe bet they will be part of the story in the future.

well.. The mursaat are a lost race, kinda, I doubt we will see them in reality, I think more we’ll be collecting their knowledge as they knew how to deal with elder dragons.

as for the white mantle.. I recall someone mentioning them before but I dont think I actually saw anything about them ingame… didn’t they disband after the lich made his move? I thought they all died….

White mantle are all through human lost parents story.

I have a strong suspicion that the White Mantle/Mursaat will play a bigger (maybe even a central) role in HoT. Firstly, there are all the little hints scattered through the Silverwastes forts about how the White Mantle had a sizeable presence there before Mordremoth drove them out. And then we have the “golden city” and the Mursaat-looking figure in the teaser cinematic.

1) They already are, but lore wise their numbers are small so a full scale war is kind of out of the question ( they still have a guerrilla war going on, with the hearts and all)

2) They are asuras , their arrogance and disregard to safety is well known, plus the lab was inquest, and we know that inquest asuras are 3x more arrogant and 10x more ignorant about safety.

3) Idk

4) Guess they can’t fork out this much content so fast, we already have to deal with other dragon minions but no big movement from the dragons themselves.

5) The war with the centaurs still rages on , the seraphs are holding them back.

The last thing the game needs is more filler content to detract from the main plot and primary antagonists. The entire time after the first Wintersday in 2012 leading up to Scarlet’s attack on Lion’s Arch last year was filler. If it weren’t for that last 10 seconds of that cinematic after we killed her, that entire thing would have had absolutely NOTHING to do with any elder dragons at all. Save these ideas for AFTER we kill all the dragons.
