please revert back to instanced style
It’s only a huge zerg rush because it’s the first day. Of course everyone is gonna be doing the new content on the first day. This was true two years ago, and will continue to be true for as long as the game runs.
If everything is going to be instanced, why even play an MMO? Why not just play Diablo 3 or Torchlight?

Story should be instanced so you don’t miss it and still get credit for it.
I found this chapter a good mix between solo and zerg.
Yesterday, immediately prior to the release, I was just thinkin that it was strange to rely so much on solo instances in the end-game content of an mmo. But here you go, they put some other things in this time. I liked it.
[Soul] – Ring of Fire
Sounds like single-player games is more your style.
Many of us like the open-world side of the story, thats kinda why we play MMO’s.
I think this episode was more of a test to figure out how the best to have open world and instances for the LS. They are trying a new approach, so my guess is that next episode will have a bit more of the same open world type stuff, but maybe just differently.
It’s the chain I beat you with until you
recognize my command!”
I don’t mind them putting parts of story in the open world. I just don’t like how they did it.

And so it doesn’T feel like a MMORPG! We really wouldn’t want that in our… erm… MMORPG.
I would have enjoyed the open world parts if there was maybe 5 – 10 – 20 people doing it all together, and not 100 people like there will be for the next few weeks.
the zergs just make it really impersonal, break immersion, and remove any kind of difficulty.
