I all!

While I was spending my life completing this amazing puzzle, I visited a lot of ruins.
So I was thinking a lot about them.

Comparing Gw and GW2 maps, this area should be Bloodstone fen point of GW. But i really don’t remember about cities. There was the white mantle, the shining blade, druids…

No cities at all.

Any idea about them?

The ship in skritt cave can come from mamnoon lagoon? But I find the ship too big for a small lake….

I’m pretty sure the skritt built that ship from the ground up, so to speak.

They’re copying someone else’s design, and the blueprints are upside down, but they’ve built it.

Sarcasm, delivered with a
delicate, brick-like subtlety.

You’re very terribly wrong about the location.

Far Silverwastes is Mamnoon Lagoon. Southwest and Northwest Silverwastes is the eastern half of Silverwood. Quarrel Falls is roughly where the Mordrem fort is (the three lanes) – though technically it’s just south of.

Bloodstone Fen is WAY off the map still.

The underground ruins are off of the GW1 map – never explored territory in other words. Only two forts/ruins would have been in GW1 according to (via that_shaman’s overlay).

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

In fact, the underground area is even called after Quarrel Falls. Further confirming which area it is.

Actually looking at the thatshaman.blogspot map, the skirtt ship is EXACTLY on the location of the Mamnoon Lagoon.
Go in game
Get on the ship
Open map
Compare to map on thatshaman.blogspot.

You do know that GW2 is 250 years after GW1, right? Based on the geology of the current map, there has been some alteration to the landscape.

More importantly, remember that the maps of GW1 and GW2 were designed very differently, and don’t overlap perfectly, (or even very well).

I seem to remember the devs saying that neither game’s maps are to be considered canon, as they are both representations of Tyria designed around a specific game’s engine.

I should be writing.
