On finding Zinn’s tomb there is some text on stone in one of the chambers. Translating from Ascalonian (Not New Krytan, nice lore continuity Anet) it reads:

‘Zinn
His genius
knew no bouns’

Is the missing ‘d’ from bounds a typo or some kind of weird joke that he was a genius but couldn’t spell? Just seems a bit odd to me.

I highly doubt Zinn made his own tombstone

I’ve been wondering who could have left a tombstone for an asuran genius in the Fire Islands, written in Ascalonian.

The spelling could be a genuine mistake on the part of whichever developer created the tombstone, or it could be totally in character for whoever wrote it. Zinn was after all famous for building some of Tyria’s…quirkiest golems. If one of them made it the spelling would be completely in character.
