speculation: Lazarus' end
I don’t think so, that we will see the situations like this in LS3, maybe in the next expansion or LS4. Because we really need Lazarus. I think, that it will happen after Kralkatorrik’s death, when Aurene will grow very powerful and Lazarus as well oh and Deep Sea Dragon too. I think, that he will turn into evil character, but not yet. I believe on his good intentions now, we will see what will happen in the next episodes or Living Stories.

Yes, but I meant not as ls3. But gw2 story in whole. The final finish line where all ls’s and expansions come together
I have no idea if this is where the story is headed, but I was wondering if OP watched a certain anime recently? It’s ending is basically the same as that of you speculation.
Code Geass
Mordremoth slays Lazarus and frees the sylvari. Mordremoth rules Tyria for a thousand generations and everyone lives happily ever after. Except the humans, charr, norn, and asura, since they’re all dead.
There will still be quaggan.

How is still an option now. Even if the devs get REALLY drumk, mawdrey’s already dead.
And kindly find yourself in the nearest realm of torment before you quaggans into a sofisticated discussion again. I will forever deny they even exist

Mordremoth is really the pale tree and needed people and the other elder dragons to think he is dead. He used his champion Traehearne to assassinate Zhaitan and has another champion, Caithe, guarding Aurene so that he might use that body to restore himself later.
Soon you will all fear the true power of the jungle dragon!

Well, at least there will still be quaggan until bubbles, the underwater starfish dragon is destroyed, which we can really, really hope takes them with it.
They are, after all, the water equivalent of the sylvari, but without players of the race, we might get to purge them entirely as they so richly deserve…

Quaggan can’t be the underwater of Sylvari. Quaggan can be corrupted. Which reminds me, how does Jormag corrupt quaggan. Do they first become sons of Svanir? Quaggan sons of Svanir would be… interesting.
Any ways, I don’t think Lazarus will survive the next expansion.

It wasnt greentexting, it making bullets when you dont have a bullet symbol on your keyboard. I could change the, to numbers if your 4chan soul so desires? Just remember, not the whole world is 4chan, so not everything is greentext

The sons of svanir arent corrupted yet. Theyre normal, people whomwillingly follow the dragons path. When they go to the north the Shamans of Hail, Snow and Frost turn the, into icebrood. At that point they become dumbvux

PS: if you look at the help, you can use the star (“*”, shift-8) character for bullet lists.
Also, I laughed, because that was quoted text for more than twenty years before reddit, 4chan, and friends.
The appropriate ending for Lazarus is to have him die on his way back to his home planet.
Tyria is Lazarus’ home planet. You know whose home planet it’s not? Humans.

Then the humans should die on their home planet.

Didn’t we wreck that place already?

It’s never really been stated. We don’t know why they left home. We only know that they left with their gods. Humans could be the mursaat of their world.

Dunno, all I know is the humans had to leave it because it had become ininhabitible. And at the time I thought humans did it themselves, either by warring or messing with magic.
Now, we’ve hardly crossed the start, but I’m already speculating what the finish line would look like.
My thought is something along the line of:
>All elder dragons are defeated, and their powers are usurped some by Aurene, but mostly by Lazarus.
>Lazarus knows there must be an elder dragon and intended to be the role.
>Lazarus realizes the world has been in chaos for too long it needs all races working together to stop a centralized evil so they can start with a clean sheet, but united.
>Lazarus becomes the necessary evil, intentionally making everyone hate him as the most demi-evil thing ever to walk the earth, so he could die in battle with Aurene and have Aurene become to the true elder dragon
>Lazarus dies, taking the concept of villainy with him, making Aurene the ultimate good.Possible, or even plausible?
I like the Doctor Manhattan style ending for Lazarus. I just don’t want him to die. Lazarus is love, Lazarus is life.
