i got this item doing the living story and now i have completed it but its still in my inventory which is already packed am i good to delete this item?

I also have packed storage. But I don’t want to delete this type of object which reminds me of the story I completed. I wish we had a “trophy” wardrobe that would hold this type of item without taking up our normal storage.

We don’t know for sure. I have been telling people to delete it if they need the space.

Typically, if ANet requires us to re-use an item from a previous episode, they also provide us with a way to replace a lost/deleted/missing original.

(As to whether you or good or not, that’s a question beyond my pay grade.)

Its more of a question of being able to look at an item and remember how I got it. Like I collect post cards and shot glasses to commemorate my RL travels.

It would be very inconvenient to replay the LS just to look at the item again.

You can delete it as you can get another by going back or at least that’s what I remember when I went there without it in my inventory.

If nothing else each alt that does the story will get a thumb. Soulbound, though.

I suspect that it’s only a curio at this point and yes, they’ll replace it if it turns out to be needed. I’m holding onto it because I do keep such mementos but I wouldn’t freak if I lost it. The thing I have too many of but really don’t want to trash is/are broken Caladhbolgs.

You can delete the thumb right away. The story still progresses normally without it in your inventory.
