so. SAB. its awesome, i feel its a brilliant game to a standard where (separate from gw2) i would buy it.

and thats the problem.

if SAB was a standalone game i would buy it and play it and it would be epic. but as the case may be its part of the living story(aka the “lets make something cool then throw it in the bin 2 weeks later” story). this means that this amazing 3d platformer with difficulty settings that put it on par with the great “i want to be the guy” is only available for a limited amount of time whenever a new world comes out….

does anyone know of a lore reason why the SAB comes and goes? at first it was an entertainment machine, second time around its an educational machine for young asura. in both instances i couldn’t see any lore reason for it to disappear between expansions…

does anyone know of a reason in lore that SAB is only available for limited times?

Well you can always preview the next level to come, and at current their is only the one box so logic/lore between it’s absence would be that Moto takes it down to work on the coming level(s) and add improvements

Lore reason: World 1 was a beta test. It was experimental.
(This also gave an out to never bring it back if everyone hated it.)

World 2 was, again, experimental.
IRL it had some issues and when World 3 is released, expect World 2 to have some major changes. Lore wise, because “Too many young asurans suffered horrible fates.” (I made that up, but it will be hilarious if something like that is given as a reason.)

So when World 3 and World 4 are released they will again be “experimental” and sometime after it will be permanent.

Moto said during the first release that one of his visions was “A Super Adventure Box in every home!”
So I’m hoping for getting my own private SAB access in my personal instance. I would be perfectly happy with that being purchasable on the gem store following the World 4 release.
