I know it’s not a good Idea to put SAB in game atm, cuz it will destroy the mordremoth hype etc, but I really want SAB O.O so pls just give an indication when it will be or something

Super Adventure Box, a lovely mini-game world.

I read somewhere there will be a break after dragon’s reach part 2- probably going to be feature patch, but maybe SAB will come too? It would be about a year after the last installment.

about 11months and a few days (or something like this)
i think last time it came semptember the first last time
so we still have two weeks from tomorrow the nnext update would come at august 26… if anet dont want us to wait more than a year one could argue that theyd have to implement it soon
id love that!!

but.. since the SAB was there for four weeks (i guess)
we did not wait a whole year in about three weeks.. were not even at 11months of waiting (even though last sab came more than 11months ago….)

I really hope SAB will be back soon, but theres not really been any official word on it, and everyone thought it’d be back in April, too.
I did however hear that a dev mentioned back when it was actually here that it was meant to be recurring content. There were also spaces for worlds 3 & 4 i think, so its likely that it’ll be back sooner or later.

Since SAB 2 no content topped it. Really as a Jump and Run fan i loved this. In my opinion except (Fire Emblem) the best game 2013.

Oh I so hope that the SAB will come back during the LS break… I just caught myself listening to the “8-bit” soundtrack of the SAB on soundcloud – that’s definitely a sign that I NEED the SAB – right now!

I know Josh was busy with the Dry Top map and all, but still… Maybe, just maybe… I mean the SAB team consists of devs split from other teams, right…? Maybe there was still a bit time for SAB developmemt… keeping my fingers crossed Ö.Ö

I wish you can kill Motto so you could just turn on SAB and play when you want.
Motto is a jerk for shutting down his Adventure Box console.

Anet is extremely aware of how popular SAB was. Judging by how large the last SAB was in terms of worlds/levels, I can only assume the hold up has been figuring out a way to make the next world(s) even bigger and with even more ridiculous jumping requirements.

Man I loved SAB. Especially Tribulation mode. It’s like Dark Souls and mario mashed into one.

do u think the djinn that we have seen in the bit that we have seen from world 3 has manipulated the sab project (8which caused moto to do some polish and bugfixes at least anet could say something like this..xD )

You’re thinking of Josh Foreman. He did originally make SAB W1 mostly as a side project, but after its extremely popular reception, I believe he got a larger team to work on W2. He is definitely still employed at ANet and has worked on several LS releases since then; the Marionette battle was designed by him, for example.

Absolutely terrible news. I want SAB back – it’s so much fun! I want to use my Infinite Continue Coin again. I want to earn more of the SAB weapon skins. Come on, at least give us access to what has already been completed in SAB! It could even tie it in with Taimi going back to school somehow if you really need some a living story hook.

They really need to just release world 1&2 again even if they cant find time make the third and fourth world :/

but as he explained it it just does not fit into hte living world release pace.. SAB usually lasts for 4 weeks and 4 weeks of “no content” for those who dislike the sab is just too long

(also you wouldnt be able to follow the actual story if there would be a pause)

HOWEVER (and here this argument bites its tail)
we now DO have A Pause (if i understood it correctly) so the SAB would NOT interrupt the living story….
likely that i want to see it this way to have a bit of hope left but…
we will see..
less than 24hours till the trailer for next week will be online…
then we do know if my hope is crushed by belindas greatsword
(which i would like as well )

I want SAB, even if I didn’t play it because I suck at it.
I want it because it’s a breath of fresh hair. It’s something original, optional but also beloved by many, it’s hard for the stubborn ones that like a challenge and it gives very origianl looking rewards.

I don’t see it coming for Season 2, as said. But they have to keep it going, there was a mistery and plot to follow, something I want to know and explore, it doesn’t have to take away from Mordremoth, so there’s no reason to see it this season. But I hope in between them we’ll see it. As we find a point where the story settles, as the armies gather and such, then I hope to see this again.

If it takes another scream from the community as with Cantha then you can be sure I’ll scream.
