100% HoT maps
Central Tyria mastery also counts, so those with 100+ either played A LOT or farmed CoF for the Central Tyria and then played a good amount with several EXP boosters in the new maps.
TD is the Order of Whispers Cannon, where you need to kill all the Chak Gerent.
VB the Night events are the main ones, where you need to kill all the Bosses in the canopy of the map. but for that you need to secure some points in the map to allow the choppers to land and grant access to the canopy.

Thx. Still, which masteries i need to train for so i can reach all points for 100% HoT completion maps?
You need gliding fully completed (up to rank 6) and itzel rank 4 for anti-poison.
I’d next do nuhoch wallows (even though I’m unsure if it’s really needed anywhere) and exalted 1 (or 2?), it’s needed for some underwater part in TD, even though you can theoretically get around that by bringing a friend that has it, but it’s needed for the story too, so…
My order advice would be:
gliding 1
gliding 2
itzel 1
itzel 2
exalted 1
gliding 3
nuhoch 1
gliding 4,5,6
itzel 3,4
nuhoch 2,3
exalted 2,3
And the rest is basically only important for some collections or quality of life.

I completed 100% map completion weeks ago (not sure if there are changes).
What you need is :
Gliding 3 (lean gliding)
Itzel 4 (poison lore)
Exalted 1 (exalted acceptance)
Nuhoch 3 (nuhoch wallows)
Only 1 mastery point in TD that needs ley line gliding, but you can ask mesmer for that.
/sigh
Time was in MMOs you had horrible grind for gear, now it seems Anet added horrible XP grinds simply to be able to explore maps.
/cry
If you explore the maps, do the events, do the story and move on if you find a barrier, you’ll get exp enough to get the needed mastery when you go back to the maps.
It is only a grind if you want it to be, like if you make that “I’ll only leave VB when I map it 100%”, if you impose yourself such condition it will be a really boring grind.

^^This. I’ve done all meta events in HoT multiple times, VB 100% explored and the other zones about 85%. Problem is I need masteries in order to complete the last 3 maps. To get masteries I need to grind the meta events again (or do those silly adventures), which I don’t really want to since I am already bored with them. Too bad we can only gain the exp in just 4 maps. Not too mention most of the masteries are uninteresting. Grind millions of exp just to be able to see a specific mob, jeej.
Still having fun playing the game though.
It’s not a real problem if you, for example, complete VB on all of your chars (I have 9 and it gave enough XP to get me way ahead of what was needed).

True, that may be the reason why mastery was no issue for me, I also have every class and played with them all unlocking the elite specs and doing the story.

Thanks for the advice. I hardly play on my alts but I might now go do HoT map completion with them for the exp.
Alright guys, thanks for advice.
Wallows isn’t required but it makes crossing AB much easier/faster.
You can easily complete the maps with:
Gliding 1-3; you don’t need 3 most of the time, but it can make certain areas easier to reach.
Itzel 1-4; you can get through most of it with just Itzel 1, but you’ll need Poison Lore (4) to get through certain areas.
Exalted 1-2
Having Nuhoch 2 can be a nice help because it lets you use Wallows to quickly get to certain places, but it’s not necessary at all.

You’ll need ley-line or wallows for NE AB unless there’s a Mesmer or some way to get over there by foot or gliding.
The southwest hero point in AB seems to require ley line or a mesmer as well. Pretty sure it was possible to get over without before.
One more thing. Fastest ways to get lumps of aurillium, airship parts, leyline crystals and the others which you can buy from vendors, craft, etc?

Doing the events and opening boxes of each map.
VB: airship parts
AB: lumps of aurillium
TD: leyline crystals

You can still glide to it.
You’ll also need to progress on the story for AB at least. -_-

Or get a mesmer port
About the completion. Alright, completed VB, DS, but got a problem at AB. It’s about the HP at the Falls, where it seems that you need gliding 6, cuz i don’t see other way to get to it, since the experimental rifle thing will not work cuz that cliff is higher now. Any other way to do that?
Gliding 5 is enough if you just start at the northernmost waypoint and glide in that general direction.
NEOCROM, the guide on Dulfy.net for Auric Basin Hero Points explains exactly what is needed and where to go. The guide is up-to-date.
I’ve gotten to the area with multiple characters using the techniques described in the guide.
