Today i completed the zone Straigts of Devestation, but i did not recieve any zone rewards. Is there a way to still recieve it or am i screwed… Anyway the bug exists (i double checked my inv for new loot etc, but i realy recieved nothing).

You’re not the only one. My husband and I completed Cursed Shore and neither one of us received the rewards. I tried the steps suggested by the support staff (logging out, zoning, logging in with another character) and still nothing. I’m just waiting to hear back from them. But there is a bug.

I also did not recieve my reward or any pop up for the completion. The last thing for me to get was the new way point in the straits of Devistation. Possible the new way points messed it all up?
My mail box is empty, but I believe the reward is a pop up.

I also am having this issue! This was the last way point i need to for 100% world completion. I had already completed Cursed Shore so not getting a chest for this fine but i didn’t get my gifts or anything for completing the world map. Got the Achievement tho.

Have you been to the Chantry of Secrets?

I had the same problem as Vlack.1582 complete the world with the new wp on strait of devastation recive the Achievement but do get the chest with the gifts of explorer.

Anyone else find a solution to thier glitched 100%?
Anyone know if there might be something Im overlooking?
Basically when press “M” for map and look at my world settings I got 100% and all my WP,Hearts,Poi,&Vistas are totally complete.
I dont believe I need dungeon or diving completion for this.

I went to Straits of Devastation and Cursed Shore to get the 1 way point left in each zone, but after getting them i didn’t get the map completion chest for either zone. I have all vistas, way points, skill points and points of interest. I have also tried the Chantry of Secrets suggestion (through portal and asura gate 3 times). I’ve seen that people have trouble getting the 100% world completion and it seems to be tied to one or both of these zones. Would like to see a fix for this before i continue to work on over all map completion.

One thing which is sometimes mentioned for 100% world completion is to double check that you have actually accepted all of the individual map rewards. (I have no first hand experience of this — still at 73% or so )

When I go to character screen it shows that my ele has 100%. But if I’m in the game, it sais that I’m missing 3 points of interest and 2 vistas. I’ve done all the maps (checked 4times) including the WvW and the chamber of secrets. I went to the two new waypoints they added.
So i really think 100% completion is bugged for me… Because I did eternal battle ground the last and then got the 2 waypoints and that should have given me 100%

So Im seeing continous issues with people getting the 100% reward. I went through the motions and figured out my issue but not with out having to read various threads and points. Allow me to sum up the steps you should take to fix the 100% reward.

#1: It says you have 100% in your Map but this may not be true. To have 100% you must have found and done all 301Hearts, 509 WayPoints, 719 Points of Interest, 202 Skill Points, and 266 Vistas.

- If you dont have this then scan the areas in your Map view. If you zoom out and place the mouse over an area’s name it will list the map completions of that area.
– Special mention: WvW maps count, as well Fields of Ruin is a zone located south of Blazeridge Steppes which is often missed.

#2: A definite bug is the Chantry of Secrets located in Blood Tide Coast. Once entering it you get a 1/1 Poi map completion. This particular Poi is not counted towards the 719 Pois on the main Map, but is required. Many people who have been there before stated that they needed to return again to get the Poi. This seems to be a recent patch glitch.

#3: In the most recent patch 2 way points were added in the Straits of Devistation and Curse Shore. If you have completed these areas earlier, you will still need to return and activate the way to get the 100% world map completion.

#4: This one is a doozy. Apparently you must have not only completed each areas map, but you must have collected your reward for the area map completion. If you have not accepted the reward in a map area you will not get the 100% map reward (or so I have read).
This is one of the last things you want to do since to do it quickly will cost a few silver to jump around.

That pretty much sums up the wierd unclarified rules needed to get 100% map completion reward.
After all the steps are checked you didnt get your reward Im not aware of other solutions.

I’ve done number #1 – #3, nothing happened… I guess i will have to jump around the whole map wich will probably cost me about 1G with those waypoint prices.. I hope the devs will give their statement to this topic..

For #4 … There are actually people who do this? O_o
The game presents you with a dialog with 4 items, gold and experience and …. you just ignore it and run off to another map?

2 I’ve ran into on my second character, which was a while ago so it’s not really a recent issue.

Well I’m almost 100% sure that I’ve collected all the rewards, but I haven’t been to all the maps again.
Do I have to complete arah dungeon story mode too for map completion?.. (wiki says “no”)

This situation is a mess. I have completed all the maps and still no final map completion rewards.

Found it! Boy, that poi was the same color as the rock it sat in. I found it of all places, in Kessex Hills in the Mafic Core, just south of the Cereboth Canyon Waypoint. It was back in that lava cave where the Champion and all those vets were lurking.

Cannot understand why it did not show up before when I moused over the map… but now I have world completion title and gifts. Yea!!!

….and I got the rewards for this too.

Hapened to me last night on my second character, completed 100% by exploring Rata Sum and no reward except the zone completion. I logged in and out just in case it was required and no reward

I got 100% World Completion roughly 4 months ago. I was aware Anet added 1 or 2 WPs in Curse Shore. Adding those 2 WPs would not remove my World Completion title, which is great, however I am a completionist so I ran out there and got the 2. However, I noticed I was still missing 1 which was very strange. I figured well, perhaps Anet added a WP in one of the zones. For about a month I’ve searched and located it in Straits of Devastation. The WP was the Dire Shoal Waypoint, way north under water. I got it and received 100% map completion for Straits of Devastation. I didn’t receive any reward for 100% map completion however I assume since I previously was reward I was not due any.

Side note, keep up the great work ANet. You’ve made a fantastic game and continue to make it even better.

I got 100% map completion today and i noticed that i didnt get my reward but i got the the title and achievement so i went to the chantry of secret but it didnt reset it so i went to the other orders and checked but i didnt get anything (i havent missed any point of interest).

I’m SO mad i have completed the map and got the title I had a star by my mini map for a while they added the other wavepoints i got them also never got reward to make legendary weapons and now i do not have star but still have title this game is so bad.

Lady J I hear that the star that appears by the mini map is in fact the 100% completion reward containing your gift of exploration, you need to click on that star like you would a daily or zone completion chest.

completed today plains of ashford, after the last waypoint I’ve ulocked the achievement 100% ashford areas but no chest.

Happened yesterday. Got a title, but no reward for last zone, and no Gift of Exploration…

A lot of maps already gave you the 100% map completion map reward. However, with the adding of new waypoints, the percentage got under 100% but the reward was already given, so when completing you will not get a new chest!

PS: Did’t you find odd, that you left that particular map at like 99% of completion?

have you tryid to go to Bloodtide coast at the Deadend POI. Order of whispers place?
