Title says some of it
I am wondering if its possible for one character to have 2 different legendary weapons
mainly because their are only 200 skill points and one thing you need to make a legendary costs 200 skill points (bloodstone shard)
Is it possible to get more than the cap to spend?

Yes. Every xp “level” you earn after 80 turns into a skill point.

According to the wiki you receive 1 skillpoint for every 254,000 experience points earned when you’re level 80.

So that won’t be a problem. Allthough it might take some time.

Yes, every time you level up you get one skill point and every time you get another full exp bar once you hit Lv80 you get one skill point. However, theoretical you can only create two legendaries for every character. One of the components is the Gift of Exploration, this is the award for having 100% world completition. You will only receive two of them and they are account bound. Ofcourse this is more or less avoidable, because you can also get 100% on other characters.

As the others above me said you gain a skill point each time you fill the bar again but you can also buy skill points inside fractals for 35 fractal relics per skill point. If you want you can also level up another character and create your second legendary with your second character’s skill points as the required items are normal or account bount (there are no soulbound legendary required items as far as I know) and the legendary it self is bound on use so you can easily transfer everything via bank.

think Great Sword combine 2 GS for one Uber killer one called eternity. LOL that is the name of the grind and the sword.

Keep in mind, you cannot equip two of the same legendaries at once (you can weapon swap them though). Like two daggers is a no no because it’s “unique”.

So for a dagger/dagger thief your just screwed right awesome lol…

Least you can still get more then one legendary… Elementalist’s are once again shafted.
