I came out wondering the same thing on the Gendarran one. Perhaps you just need to visit the new dungeon, even if you don’t do the dungeon? Maybe that exposes it?
The 2nd one should be the one in the SE corner of Divinity’s Reach that was released a few weeks back. Dead End something? Part of that story. You can just walk up to that one and you get it.
The Gendarran Fields one is almost certainly the new jumping puzzle.
I found that location prior to the patch that added the POI (as did some others) with the strange “warp wall”. Said warp has been there at least since last week’s patch, probably before that (maybe added the first patch of Dragon Bash). You can see a hatch or steam vent up there if you angle your camera the right way, and the fact thakittens right next to the machine-sounding mountain and the JP is supposed to be hidden in a mountain is a pretty dead giveaway.

That’s not true, it says 98% on my map now that the patch is up and I had 100% on it before the patch. The new POI is currently unattainable it looks like.

This is how the world completion title is being tracked.
The world completion title is being tracked by map completion. Whenever you complete a map the title tracker will mark that as done (and a special completed icon will apear on the map loading screen. If after completing that specifick map a new poi is added you keep that special icon and it will stay marked as completed for the title.
When you have all needed maps completed with that special icon you will get the final reward.
the confusing part is the tracker on the world map. He is tracking all poi’s (and other things) but it has technicly nothing to do with the title, use it as an indication what you need.

had 100% completion on my thief, updated her as new pois were added. with the addition of the one at broadhollow, i was only showing 1 poi missing. this means that if you have two missing, your other one likely is the one in divinity’s reach. good luck!

AAhhh this explains why I thought I completed Divinities Reach, yet upon visiting the other day I was missing a point of interest. Found it easily and as a previous poster said you can just walk up to it. Glad it’s not senility creeping in, in my old age. Hadn’t noticed the Gendarren Fields one, but haven’t been there for a while.

The fact that you actually show you dont know zip bout what your talking bout means you shouldnt discuss my answer in this section. The krytan exploration title has nothing!!! to do with map completions and map completion trackers. You get that for unfogging map. Although there is some synergy when doing it it is totally unrelated.
Please read what I’m saying. Once a map is completed (getting a reward chest) there is no need to ever return to that map. Even if they added a new PoI.

That may be true, but that wasn’t even the point of this thread. I was not given a reward chest for map completion. I was hoping someone knew how to access this POI so I was able to get it. There is no reason to be rude to someone offering suggestions or help. Thanks to all of you who offered positive advice. I suppose I will wait until this new jumping puzzle is released and see if that is how I can gain access the new POI.

I dont think this is true. If you have completed the entire achievement for map completion, “Been there Done that”, of the world, you will not lose it for new poi’s. But, if new poi’s are added before the final acheivement, you will have to go back to maps that have added poi’s, even though at one time you had 100% for that area. At least that is what happened to me.
I have tested this with WP’s added to orr a few months ago (it was possible to themall to be contested so they added two that are never ever contested). I had those maps completed before that and only needed a few points in WvWvW. I finished those later without having those waypoints being unlocked. I did have to revisit the chantry of secrets but that was all.

Friend, you just saved me a lot of trouble. Thanks for pointing me to Divinity’s Reach. I was scanning all of the areas from the World Map and Dvinity’s Reach’s completion stats don’t show up when you hover over it, so it’s easy to not think about it. Sure enough, when I visited it it told me I was one short on POIs. ArenaNet should have grandfathered in people who already recieved map completion awards for an area, I’ve been working on this for four weeks, so of course they could have changed something in that time
