1. Do you have to be lvl 80 to do the living story or am I missing something.

2. I’m having trouble sometimes getting back from my main city to the map that I came from. Is there a way to see the entire world map and click to a waypoint in my previous map? or do I just need a better memory?

Thx in advance for any help.

1) no, but I think you’ll have a much harder time when there are enemies to fight (you could party with some friends).
2) click ‘m’. that will open the map. scroll wheel down to zoom out. you can click and drag the mouse to move it around, then screen wheel up to zoom in. you do need some memory to remember where the cities are, and where you want to go to. every zone has way points, so you could way point to lion’s arch, get something from you bank, craft, buy salvage kits, etc., then way point back to [near] where you were. way points cost some silver, the further away it is, and the higher your character level, the more it costs (level 80 costs about 1s20c to 4s50c, level 70 is about 50c to 2s; it’s pretty cheap before level 80 )
that is all only the case if you are in the open world. If you are in an instance, you usually have to first leave that instance before you can zoom out on the map and waypoint anywhere.
let me know if you have more questions

Living story unlocks at level 10 now. You can solo the living story almost all the way through, but you may want to wait until you’re 5 or more levels above the quest level of the story chapter so it’s not painfully slow to kill the enemies.

In the bottom right hand corner of your map (after hitting “M”) you’ll see a scale with “+” at the top and “-” at the bottom. Use that to zoom out until you can see the entire world map at once.

Glory to your warband!

I have a sword, a dagger, and an estimated life span of 2.47 seconds.

OK I got the zoom part ( Thanks for that) but I can’t find where the LS starts. I didn’t see a marker on the map.

Hi,

By logging in, you have unlocked the content of the current Living Story Chapter for your account. To be able to actually play it, you do need to be level 80. It will be there waiting for you.

As the first reply said, you can go with a party and see the content, but you will not be able to get credit for it until your character has opened that content. The second poster was actually talking about Personal Story.

There are two different things in the Story tab.

Personal Story is divided in 8 chapters. Every chapter unlocks, and is playable, every 10 levels starting from level 10.

Living World Story is unlocked when you log in during it’s window (usualy 2 weeks, starting from the release date), but only playable with level 80 characters.

Hope this helps.

If you never heard that silence, it’s a godawfull sound…
