That’s a matter of personal opinion, tbh.

For me, no. I can finish multiple fractals in the time it would take me to get 20g on an average day. Plus, it is likely that I will have spent more money on buying fractals by the time I get something worthwhile from a chest.

20g to get 1-50 “unlocked” maybe. 20g for a run, no.

The dailychest makes it worth it.
20g for a fractal skin or a ascended armor piece sounds kinda cheap.

Cheap but not guaranteed. It all comes down to personal preference if you can be bothered to run the fracs or not. Its a gamble if your luck pays out that spending 20g nets you an ascended piece you want.

If you’re not going to miss the 20g then why not… EU side some people are starting to sell for 15g now.

I personally would never pay for a fractal or dungeon run. I have however sold and given them away.

A friend of mine (who usually due arah with) however does buy some paths now and then. To him he says, “Its a time vs reward thing.”

I know people who do it because they have the cash and don’t want to spend time doing the work.

Fractals 50 is a gamble though, sometimes you win, most times you won’t

There is about combined 20% of chance of obtaining ascended chest or fractal weapon skin. So 20g a run means you spend on average 100g to obtain one of those rewards. I would say it’s just about right price.

However, fractal 50 is really easy now even with pugs. Why not just run it yourself. It’s also somewhat fun content left in PvE.

I personally wouldn’t buy it. Yes there is a chance of weapon or ascended box, but a bigger chance getting nothing or a ring.

You can run a 50 in 40mins or so with a group or even less with the more experienced.

Me and my guildies had great fun climbing the ranks and going through the mistlocks, so much fun we can wait to work our way up to 100 :p

Not really worth it unless you desperately want fractal skins and have thousands of golds to waste.
