Anyone know which skins were removed from the wardrobe? I’m not seeing any discussions on this and it’s got me curious.

The Mordremoth minion outfit and the butterfly wings were accidentally added to the wardrobes yesterday, and I believe that’s what they took out.

Butterfly wings? Rats, I hope they bring them back. I want to be like Bayonetta and Madame Butterfly.

I just checked the Tribal and Stalwart sets (the two old, unobtainable ones I know of) and both are still in there, and I don’t have them unlocked so it’s not just that they show up for me.

I assume therefore that like RoseofGilead said it’s stuff that hasn’t been released yet but was accidentally made visible that was removed.

This was in the wardrobe, not in the gem store. It’s pretty likely these will show up soon.

Those aren’t “unobtainable” in the sense meant by the patch notes, because they already have been obtained (by some people anyhow).

The actual note should have said, “removing skins from the wardrobe that haven’t yet been released and aren’t obtainable now, in the past, or in the immediate future” — at some point, we just have to accept that patch notes and even log posts aren’t vetted by someone with a sharp legal mind for exploiting loopholes, e.g. any 8 year old whose parents have told them they are allowed X if they first do chores Y & Z.

I was wondering why there wasn’t an Evon blog post about them.

I found this thread shortly after having a conversation in-game where some people were concerned that it didn’t specify which skins were hidden because what they had done was effectively remove any trace of currently unobtainable skins for people who didn’t already have them and that this could be interpreted as confirmation that these skins were never going to be made available again and Anet were hoping we’d all forget about them. I assumed the OP was thinking along the same lines.

So I picked the two sets I knew from memory are currently unobtainable and checked them. I’d not seen the new stuff so I wasn’t able to check that, plus it had already been addressed in the topic.
