Been away for a few months so decided to start a new character.
Is it my imagination or is levelling slower ? Seems to take a lot longer than I remember !

Different professions seem to level slower or faster – I’m not sure whether this is factually correct but its often reported by players. Warriors = fast, Mesmers = slow etc – but I’m sure different players have different opinions on this.

Also, if you did things like crafting on your original character but not on your new one that will make a difference, you can get quite a nice exp boost from crafting.

your imagination… How fast you level depends on how fast you kill and move minus time you waste by dying etc.

I always craft and gather materials, do all the usual things but must be my imagination.

i have 7 avatars now and each one levels faster than the previous because i know what to do and which event and area is easier to complete. Also i can afford lots of consumable now. Good luck
