A Few UI Questions
1. First I reccomend you just check out the options in the menu. There is a UI size changer… Forget where specifically but it’s there! You will also find other things In the options u might want to change.
2. That’s a computer setting. Just go into the settings of your computer look for the mouse u connected and it should be somewhere over there.
3. I don’t think you can change that …… But what I like to do is to keep the camera as zoomed out as possible so I can see more of the world (like you also wanted to). After playing the game a while you will get used to it and be able to change it very quickly.
Feel free to add me ingame or ask any other questions!
Thanks, I had a reeaally close look and found the UI scaler! I was looking for a slider, but instead it’s a drop-down option, so there’s much room for customization (and the smallest option still isn’t quite as small as I’d like =P) but it’s definitely better than before =D
I guess the mouse scrolling problems will be something I have to adjust to. Changing my overall mouse settings just for this one game will affect every other game and program on my computer :/
Many thanks for your help =)
Sadly they didn’t implement all the options for the UI that GW1 had. It was amazing, being able to move everything around separately and resize it as you liked. Kind of like Rift’s UI.
Then again, GW2 doesn’t even have a fully completed Auction House. They never put in the ability to search for back-slot items (unless you know the names) nor the non-food like consumables (that can be used at the same time as a food buff) such as Crystals, Oils, and Stones. Heck, you can’t even search the armor by types (light, heavy, medium) and that’s basic in every game.
You’ll find that GW2 is lacking in a lot of ways, especially customization, but despite it’s failings there is still fun to be had in the game. I have five 80s, so apparently despite the frustrations I’ve managed to spend a lot of time playing so far. lol
What resolution are you running the game at? I don’t see how the UI could be taking lots of space unless you’re running the game at a tiny resolution.
