A call to arms
How is that any different? All you’re doing is starting another train. The other train will just end up merging with yours. There is no “exclusive rights” tagging in this game. Most of the people are more than happy to just tag a champ for credit and let you do all the work to bring it down. They are farming for drops, not on some sort of “thrill of the hunt” safari.
The only way to troll them, would be to figure out how to glitch out the mob so that no one can kill it. Of course that is probably breaking some sort of EULA and will probably get someone banned.

The difference is I actually let ppl hit champions for participation but the trains kill him before the people that need him can get to him.

That may be your intent, but the end result is the same. You either try to kill them slowly, resulting in the train overtaking you,. or you try to get ahead of the train and down it first, until they just change to your rotation. In either case, the original train will end up merging into yours at some point.
I dont actually go from one champ to the next i stay at the champ and kill it when it spawns.
There are Champions in other starter zones and those are not being trained like Queensdale……
Exactly how many dailies do you miss while you are still in Queensdale as a low level…3 or 4….maybe 5? If they are story item farmers, just create a different race character to farm with.

I must say that sounds truly boring as hell and not very efficient, but whatever floats your boat.

Yes there are other champions in other zones so why is there trains in Queensdale instead of maybe Fireheart Rise or Orr?
My only issue is that as a new player (just started with last free weekend) I had no idea I’d get screamed at for killing the event monster that popped up on my UI. Better communication is all I ask…I don’t have an issue with the farming groups other than that…I can hang around for a minute and get one hit in with the group and then it’s win-win.
It’s always funny when lvl 80’s call people noobs for killing a champ and ruining their rotation. They are farming in a noob zone. What the kitten were they expecting?

Ok…there is a big difference between LVL 80s killing Champs so fast, lower levels can’t get in on the kill and LVL 80’s ranting and raving when they don’t get to kill 1 champ….that’s just idiotic on their part and I can see where that is off-putting for a new player. They should obviously not be subjected to verbal abuse for playing the game normally.
Games (as in all areas of life) are never jerk-free zones.

I agree that champ train participants should not ever be rude to other players no matter what. But new players can simply join in whever they are at. Also you are puposefully trying to annoy other players which i feel is just as bad. It’s ok for you to be spiteful but not them? That makes no sense. Why don’t you just play the game and do what you want? If someone gives you a hard time or is mean to you for killing a champ, report them and move on.
I dont do it for spite I do it so theres at least 1 champ the low lvls can get to w/o having to deal with the idiotic trains. As for reporting them the devs wont do a thing because they r not doing anything wrong accordign to the ToS but it is morally wrong.
So you’re coming in to a game to do a job? Let the devs be the morality police and go enjoy yourself.

You cant claim a moral high ground when you are intentionally disrupting what others are doing for fun . Do you perhaps covet their ability to to kill the champs faster than you ? Perhaps you’re just trolling the zerg for fun i dont know but either way you dont have a moral high ground to stand on .
I think the only reason these trains are in queensdale is because they are not good enough to do a train anywhere else and lask the skill to go into an area that 15+. I wouldn’t be bringing this up if player’s weren’t getting yelled at for killing champions ahead of the train or if the train waited a few seconds for more players to join in this wouldn’t be a problem.
This amounts to “waaaah we can’t get to the champs fast enough so help us kill them before the people doing it for money/levels can!!!!”. Which is petty beyond belief. The routes aren’t hard to learn and if they need the champions they can very easily wait about five minutes for the train to reach them. You and your friends aren’t forced to farm, nor is the zerg forced to stop their farm. Everyone wins.
Of course, if you’d like to join the farm.. as I said before it isn’t very hard to learn the route.
Actually its more like ’waaaah the low lvls r stealing our drops by playing the game the way its meant to be played and we r too weak to get out of the 1-15 zone".
Perhaps a lot of mid-level players are doing the Queensdale train because they’re not a high enough level to do Frostgorge (60-70), but they can still get champ loot in known locations. Heaven knows Anet makes it hard to make any coin in this game, what with a few copper or silver for hearts… really… just might as well not even bother!
I’m 80 but do the Queensdale train once in a while if I need Krytan events for my dailies. The Frostgorge champs (other than Quaggon) aren’t events. The Queensdale champs (other than Spider) are. The loot from the Queensdale champs FAR pales in comparison so I only do that when I have to. Additionally, if I am in the train I’m helpful to others by res’ing them, and never complain if a champ was killed before I got there. Please, do not assume that every person is morally corrupt because they do the champ zerg. That’s not fair to 99% of the players.
If the lower lvl players want to do a champ, go for it and ignore or report any abusive responses from the train, OR conversely, they could wait a few minutes and join the zerg at the champ they want to kill. Nobody loses out anything.

I fail to see how the Champ Trains are morally wrong (the ranting is just rude and potentially against ToC if using profanity or racial slurs).
Now trying to organize an “uprising” to intentionally grief another group of players might fall into the “morally wrong” category.
