Guild Wars 2

Hi guys, I’m going to make a new PC. I want to play this game at the highest graphics setting, and i want to run it smoothly. My current PC gets very slow and laggy when i play at highest setting. Here’s my PC specs:

Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

If you guys could tell me how should i upgrade my PC (like which graphics card should i buy, which processor do i need, etc etc) i would really appreciate it. Thanks!

This PC you have is good. How can you say its laggy and slow ?
I have
I5 2500K @4.6GHz
8GB RAM
Radeon 7850 (overclocked)
I Play on maxed settings and using tridef 3D soft to play in 3D which cuts the FPS by 50% and I get around 25-35FPS (in LA it gets down to 18-25)
When tridef 3D is turned off i get like 60fps (in LA 30-50)

O_o both your guys PC’s are better than mine, i got same CPU (i5-2500) as you 2 and a AMD 6950, and 8GB RAM

And i get at least 50 FPS all time with only 1 or 2 options at next highest (not at home so cant check exact which ones though ATM) rest at max, and well get a bit over 100 FPS sometimes even when nothing too much is going on
