Hello there!
Played this game for about a week after getting back to it after a couple of years,although i’ve never really played it a lot.
First character i made was a necromancer,im level 36 at the moment,mostly by doings hearts and Eotm,so i wonder whats the most efficient way to level up? Eotm used to be a lot faster up until level 20 but after it seems too slow,but it might be because most of the time we’re wining by a big margin.How long did it take you guys to get your first toons to 80?
Also i’m love the pvp in this game,been doing pretty well with necromancer,but im unsure about the build im using,could you guys recommend a build that does well and isn’t too hard too hard pull off?

The best advice I can give for a quick level is crafting, if you have some spare cash buy gems, convert to gold in the gem store currency exchange then get crafting!, costs about 100 to 150 gold per levelling guide I think, ten ton hammer do good crafting guides, just type in Google gw2 ( insert crafting name, armour smith or whatever) guide, it gives about 8 levels per 0 to 400 crafting. That’s how I’ve been levelling my alts that I can’t be bothered to do hearts with hope that helps.

I prefer map completion, myself. The personal story can help, too. Everything in the open world gives xp, exploring new zones, gathering, rezzing players… If you see a dynamic event, do it, especially if you haven’t done the nearby hearts – that’ll give you the most xp. Buy cheap food consumables on the trading post and keep their buffs on.

well if you like PVP, then just PVP your way to 80, you get tomes of knowledge that gives u a level for each one, also just logging in daily will give you 10+ tomes per month.

ive leveled 8 toons from 1-80 using just tomes, its simply the fastest way if you enjoy pvp.

as for necro build in pvp, u can run minion master, its pretty forgiving.
