I thought that’s why we had these forums. GW2 is arguably one of the most friendly gaming community out there. Sure there’s vitriol oozing from those who like to rant/complain, and apparently have nothing better to do. But by and large the community is quite friendly and helpful.

Example:
Ever so often a thread will even pop up telling the story of how a PvE player was doing map completion in a hostile WvW map and opponents would leave them alone when it’s clear that’s the player’s intention.

I’m just not sure why anyone would need a Facebook group for this. A carefree environment of me enjoying my game does not include Facebook. Beer perhaps, but definitely not Facebook.
