Guild Wars 2

I’m trying to dress my character in something festive for the holiday season, I’ve got an outfit and colors ready, but I’m having trouble finding a hat for cloth armor female characters that would fit a Christmas/winter theme.

All suggestions are welcome, I’ll post screenshots when I can!

Maybe winged headgear would look good with the right colors. Icelord diadem might be a possibility if you have at least 24 HoM points.

Wintersday hats were very popular in Guild Wars, I’m surprised Anet didn’t continue the tradition.

A hood, perhaps? Winged and Cabalist armors both have hoods, and they could probably look pretty festive if dyed the right colors. GW1 did give a hood away one year, after all.

There’s a lot of tradition that’s been ignored in gw2 but that’s discussion for another thread.

I’ve considered winged hood, cabalist is a bit too big and obvious for my taste.

A holly circlet would be nice, I can’t abide my female characters being bald.

Unfortunately, they’re not available anymore, although I expect they’ll probably reappear in the gem store once Winterday rolls around.

Yes, sorry, I was posting close to bed time so I didn’t get extra links. I’d hope it will be available again this year, just as the Mad King outfit came back for Halloween. It’s such a classy Santa hat! Also I think the Fancy Winter clothing was some of the best town clothes yet released — you can see me wearing it in that picture, though these days I have it dyed white with black and green accents. Women got a lovely fur trimmed dress.

I am crossing my fingers for similar quality but new wardrobe items next month, along with a re-release of the previous gear. I have more alts in need of looking fancy now

That is the Fancy Winter Coat. Some call it the pimp coat -laughs- Here, I’ll hop back in game to get a better picture of it. The Festive Hat was separately available though I no longer recall if it was gem store or acquired in game.
