Before the patch all I ever did was the dragons and the maw. I’d like to do what this patch was pushing us to do…go out and do the other events to get chests. However I really don’t know where all of them are.

These are the ones I know of:
3 Dragons
The Maw
Shadow behemoth
megadestroyer
fire elemental

I know there are a lot more out there but I just don’t know where they are. Also I really don’t know how the temple things work in the Orr zones…how do I know they are up? Where exactly are they? How many are there?

Aren’t there more than those though? I heard people talk about some jungle wurm…and some Harathi overlord and aren’t there more than 3 temples?

The jungle wurm is in the sylvari starter zone. The centuar leader guy at Harathi Hinterlands drops a chest (NE corner) but not as large as the dragons/temples. In Straits of Devestation is the catacomb escort that leads to a legendary eye with a chest same size as dragons/temples. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Zho%27qafa_Catacombs

Also each of the Corrupted Temples in Orr drop a chest at the end of their event

When you say the chest isn’t as large does that simply mean you don’t get as many items from it?

Also are all these chests part of the “1 chest per day” thing with the new patch? Is it all chests or only ones of a certain size?

Note: Megadestroyer did NOT get improved loot and still only drops a couple blues.

This should help you figure out the different types of chests. I’m not sure how the lockout of looting a chest agian works, last i heard it was a 24hr CD, but iv also heard some reset with the daily. /shrug

Zudet, I ran the Zho’qafa Catacombs lastnight, I got 2 rares off it & everyone else got at least 1 rare. I would definatly say it was improved.

Oh man thank you so much for this list! So how exactly did you get this list and how come things like the jungle wurm and harathi overlord isn’t on there? I’m not saying I don’t trust your list because the events you listed seem to be the big ones that obviously got the buff and turned into the once a day thing. but how come not jungle wurm or harathi overlord or even megadestroyer? These chests weren’t buffed? How come?

The reason they aren’t on the list is because i haven’t checked them out yet. These are the ones that I have personally done and can assure people have improved rewards. I know mega wasn’t buffed because I tried it twice and got crap as did everyone else. If someone has tried jungle wurm or overlord since the patch let me know what you got. I’ll try to hit the rest of the “big” events this week at some point.

I see I see…And any chest that didn’t get buffed can be done more than once? So you were able to get megadestroyer chest twice in one day?

what about Rhendak the Crazed? did he get a bump on his chest loot?

The worm got a bump for sure.

World boss Inquest’s Golem Mark II spawns an Inquest Resources chest at Whitland Flats. I got two rares from the chest. Respawn rate is currently unknown.

I also requested a timer for Giant Jungle Wurm at Wychmire Swamp. Haven’t heard from anything since.

Going to ask the questions I’d rather not, since I see so many server guests at these events lately.

1) Is the “once per day” limit bypassed by visiting the same event on a different server with the same character?

1) No.

You can however get the daily reward from the event on other characters. Guesting is limited to 2 servers per day, people are looking at the timers and trying to line up the events to hit as many events with as many characters as they can.

Its one chest per character (not account).

I ran the event yesterday after reset and received 2 rares from the chest.
I ran the event again this morning and did not receive a chest reward.

Request has been answered. There’s going to be a timer for Giant Jungle Wurm at Wychmire Swamp.
