A question about Ranger passives
Yes you need to have the skills slotted in the skill bar in order to get the passive bonus.
The signet bonuses appear in your effect area when in use (so you know for sure which are active) and can be very useful if you are playing solo- especially the regen and toughness signets.
Charr Ranger of the Iron Legion
So, in other words, aside from spending them to get to the next tier, they do nothing for me, since I won’t ever be slotting them?
Exactly as you said it.
Can you have two signets active/passive at the same time?
I understand when they are in your skill bar they are passive…However, how do you “activate” them w/o turning them off.
Thanks,
Have you NEVER played a game before XD
-Signets are stones
-While you hold them they give you power (if you hold them on 7-8-9 skill slots)
-You break them to do something
* (when you use them you see a stone crumbling above you)
* (they buff you or hurt enemy)
-While broken (recharging) they can’t give you your usual power
- After they recharge they give you your usual power back
There is one Profession, my sweet Elementalist, that can specialize in Earth Magic and keep the Power of Stones even when they are broken and recharging .

So while slotted in 7-8-9 you are buffed…Then when you click on them they buff you for a second and become unavailable until they recharge.
Got it!? I think I’ve clicked on them before and it looks like the effect (for example 10% speed increase just goes away)
So anyway question remains, if I have a signet in slow 8 and 9 for instance, do I get both passives at the same time?
at least at 80 the toughness signet is minimal in its advantage however the condition removal and hp regen are absolutely vital (esspecially for one going the beastmastery path as the pet becomes a unstoppable tank against 1-2 mobs with that regen). its also nice to have a regen on yourself for those long fights.
