AC weapons
hey Mosharn, sorry to be the one to break it to you, but at this point in time, i don’t believe there’s anything that can be done. you can try to put in a ticket, but it was the user’s mistake (i did the same once with karma) and supposedly, there is no mechanism that allows ANet t refund in-game currency at the moment.
you can still give it a shot though! but from the many existing threads, it seems there’s not much that can be done.
i have a dagger my Guardian can’t use either. : )) so it’s just sitting in my bank. probs throw it in the MF someday soon.
one question – did you get a confirmation window when you clicked to buy the bow?

Adding futhermore to the comment from Akamon;
It would be soulbound after you purchased it. The only option would be to transmute it in order to give it to your Thief or Ranger. You would need a Fine Transmutation Stone for this. This is, if you haven’t already destroyed it.

So i was going down the list and saw the longbow and bought it but i got a shortbow thinking i was buying a longbow. Anyone know if theres anyway anet will give me the 390 ac points back so i can buy a longbow? Because my war cant use shortbows and i cant even give it to my ranger or thief which is a pretty dumb idea. So im stuck with a 390 point shortbow i cant use because i was allowed to buy something my class cant use.

You have a shot at getting some globs out of it and you can sell those for cash. Not the solution you want but atleast its profitable to some extent

Good idea. Use a proper salvage kit. IMO you will get some wood and the Rune for sure. Ecto salvage is very risky. Or you could grind AC some more and get 3 more shortbows. Then put them in the Mystic forge for another exotic which could be sold on the TP. :P

yeh i did but i thoght it was the longbow. Guess thats what happens when you spend your points when you’re half awake.
