When transforming to say into a wolfform, does the form has it’s own stats or are they based upon your characters stats?

for example. Would a heavy armor wearing Norn take less damage in a form then a light armor wearing one?

Anyone know how they work?

im not sure but one way to check is on your charcter page, i know your attack stats change though.

I find my Bear form to not be as tanky as I had hoped, however when I change forms I see that it does increase my stats.

I have found the norn/guardian to be the worst set of elite skills in the entire game. All but one of them replace your skills. And that one makes you invuln for 3 secs and resets your virtues BUT you can’t do anything during those 3 seconds.

Until I can get enough gems in game for the upgrade to the collector’s bonus of mistwolf, I’m shelfing my norn/guardian.

Personally I find the Charrzooka and Juggernaut better than the Norn elites.

I use the Snow Leopard form occasionally in PvE exploration, primarily for the stealth. On a profession without its own native stealth (Elementalist), it can help a great deal in reaching well guarded Points of Interest or Skill Challenges I couldn’t otherwise solo.

As for changing your stats, I know Bear will change things, but I haven’t really looked if any of the others do.
