Guild Wars 2

So randomly, when I double click on armor to equip it, the name is just going into a message instead of me putting it on. And I’m trying to shoot a poison arrow, I press 4 and [poison arrow] shows up in the chat box again. Did I press something? I can’t figure out how to change it. Thanks for the help.

are you using a voice chat program that makes you press ctrl to talk? I ask because the key to link items in the chat box is ctrl and can’t be changed in the game. hopefully you can change the talk key in your voice chat though

Chat Box = Shift
Chat Window = Ctrl

Not sure if the distinction is being made here or not but figured it couldn’t hurt to verify this so that you know exactly what to look for.

My theory is that it was put in this way to name and shame people who actively click their skills. Keyboard turning is bad!

So I don’t know what it was, but I got back on to try messing with it again and it fixed itself. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again. Thanks guys!
