Hi, I just recently linked my old Guild Wars 1 account to my current guild wars 2 one and I hear your suppose to get a portal thingy that brings you to the hall of monuments. I dont have that is the thing. If someone knows whats going on please tell me because it said it was successful and everything. HELP

You indeed need the hall of monuments portal stone to teleport and claim the rewards. If you haven’t received it you can obtain one for free from scornheart(merchant) at hooligan’s route(lion’s arch).

Ok, I got to the hall of monuments now, but Kimmes isn’t showing up any option to see rewards. Can someone help?

You have to look around a bit. Go into the second room with the pool and talk to the ghost standing on the lilypad, he is the one who gives you the items

Edit: you also needed eotn expansion in gw1 and to have the necessary requirements unlocked to receive the items

When was the last time you logged into GW1 and do you have Eye of the North?

A little back information might be a bit more helpful into finding out your issue.

First off, you needed EotN in GW1 and you had to fill up your Hall of Monuments in GW1 in order to receive any rewards. You don’t get rewards just for linking your accounts.

The Hall of Monuments rewards you for the work you did in GW1. If you didn’t put anything in your Hall of Monuments, or didn’t even have Eye of the North expansion, you’ll get nothing in GW2.

As well, how long ago was it that you used that GW1 account? Was the account banned? If it was banned, you get nothing. Even if you did do the Hall of Monuments.

Just linking accounts WILL give you something if you have EotN. Linking accounts give you 3 points which is enough for the shoe, pants and coat.

Try logging into GW1 and going to the Hall.

I’m not sure why but that’s fixed the problem for some other people.
