So I’m at about 8.5k achievement point arm, been playing since launch but took about 1and half year break in middle so missed slit of season 1 living story came back about Scarlett’s rise, then had another break over 20015 Christmas till about 3 weeks ago.
So I come back and decided il start or try to raise my achievement point to about 20k , give myself a aim and go for it but was curious if it’s even possible haha I missed so much and it will take proba the rest of the year to even come close , so is there any easy ways to do it ?
Looking at leader boards it’s obvious most of the top did the dailies when you use to get 1 point for each which you don’t get now

The total APs from dailies (+ historical monthlies) are still capped at 15k max, so you can potentially catch up. Getting the 10APs for doing the dailies (3 tasks across all game modes) will progress you steadily. What you have missed permanently are historical APs (e.g. LS season 1 and many seasonal events + some clean up achivements) found here too: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Achievement

I would not advise you to go for huge junks of points, but a steady progression to go for you goal (e.g. do dailies + one JP + one story progression a day).
