I’ve just come back to GW2 after a long break. Where do I start?

I have 1 level 80 Norn Necromancer and several alts around level 10. I’ve followed some of the events via the website and forums but feel lost as to what to do. My guild is no longer active so I have no in game connections to give me the rundown.

I am debating finishing world completion on my main character or leveling an alt to “get back into” the game.

I welcome the communities thoughts and/or suggestions.

First thing I’d do is join a new guild. Figure out your play style and look for an in game group.

I’d take a look at the new content, since it won’t be around forever. That’s the Baazarre of the Four Winds. You can get there from the shop in Lion’s Arch near the Sanctum Docks Way Point.

If I was in a cynical mood I’d say you missed nothing since it’s all temporary content except some dodgy balance decisions. You are where you were when you left pretty much. Just dust off the cobwebs and see if if you have fun dusting.

I would suggest just doing what feels fun. Don’t over complicate things for the first few days, just go with whatever your instinct tells you and the rest will follow.

Don’t feel left behind. The best thing about GW2 is that you can always go back and play the way you want to play!
