So I was messing around with a totaly identity change kit, and when it came to deciding on a new name. I started feeling helpless. I want a funny name, but to know whether its good or not imho you need to be a native speaker. Learned language can never give you that super-sensitive gut-feeling you have towards the language you speak from birth. With this being said:
My original name of chocie was Crittina Aguilera. I really like the ‘Crittina’ part, but the family name could use some altering. (She’s a thief btw.)
So my ideas are (only family name):
-Steals (seems a little lame to me, but dunno)
-Steale (altered version of the common ‘Steele’ family name)
-Meelean (—>Christina Milian, however probably ‘meele’ and ‘mili’ are not pronounced the same way, so this may be too messy)
-Frombehind (‘von Behind’ maybe also works)
-Hardseeker (intetional ‘misspelling’ of the Heartseeker abilty)
-Swaggerstorm (^^)
I like the first and the last one the most, but dont let that distract you.
Btw, Swaggerstorm doesnt work unfortunatley. Exceeds the character limit by 2 letters. :S Which led me to a new idea: Crittina Sassin/Mugdalena. Is this ok? (I know I’m getting annoying, so this is the last name I offer for discussion.)
Maria Magdalena … I might be too conservative, I’d stay away from that one.
Sassy Crittina? Sorry, don’t want to throw you off, Crittina Sassin has a certain ring to it.
What do you mean by ‘certain ring’? Bad or good? (I’d guess you’ve meant bad…)
Btw I never thought about this name that has anything to do with being sassy. I just rearranged the letters of assassin: one goes to the end of CrittinA, the rest goes to the family name except for the double S. ‘SSassin’ looks stupid to me. But, nvm. I knew I needed your advice guys. See how lost I’d be without you?

Yeah, I didn’t think of Magdalena. I would stay away from Mugdalena also.
Crittina is fine but I would avoid Crittin as it’s too similar to cretin, which is a old medical term for a type of mental retar’dation and is now used as an insult.
I don’t see anything wrong with Hardseeker. You could joke that she was a hydrophobic sailor. How about Herzjaeger?
Swaggerstorm is fine for a female character. She may be a pretty little girl, but she’s also a professional killer.
Hardseeker has certain sexual connotations to it. It might be fine but there is always a chance that someone will report it and that support will agree and force a name change.

I get it, I just think its too big a leap from hardseeker to hardwienerseeker. The way its being used suggests to me aggressive tracker. However, the game is full of over sensitive twits, so you might be right.
OP made the right choice. That’s a really good name.
