Hi guys, im finally finally finally getting my first 80 soon

Now im wondering what i best could do…

Gear wise, i want ascended gear and a legendary weapon.. and 2 useful profession for my class, elementalist

What should my next steps be towards these 2 goals?

As for the trade choose the ones that are appropriate i.e tailor and artificer for an ele or choose the trades that are needed to craft your desired legendary.

Also better get started on those tier 6 mats. You’ll need a lot, you can either craft ascended gear or get it from a drop whilst doing Fractals.

If you want to do this all by yourself:

Tier 6 mats needed
Crafting: Gets the skillpoints needed to get some of legendary components
Karma: Lots needed for the legendary

Have you started on any crafting class so far?

Both Ascended gear and a Legendary weapon are more long-term goals so far, btw – that is, concerning the amout of time they require.

When you get to level 80, buy the best armor, and weapons you can find (something like Explorer Armor, all with + 3 magic find), then add luck of the traveler add-ons. The magic + find gear will then pay for itself. Then grind the level 80 maps for items to sell and crafting material, the gold will start rolling in.
