Before I start this process, I want to make absolutely sure that I can craft the weapon on an alt. My main is maxed in Jeweler and Leatherworking.

Can I do this? Can I have my alts craft the stuff I need and then just put it together with my main? I read some old posts that said this was possible but want to be certain that it is still true.

Yup, you can. All of the gifts you need to make are going to be account bound. And, once you have those crafted, you use any character to throw it all in the forge to make your legendary.

Yes you can, my warrior and Necromancer made my flameseeker prophecies.

Just want to point out that you can also change crafting profession on your main, for a small price, so you can craft it there if you want.
