Hello GW2,
I’m brand new and can’t decide on a server to jump into. Been reading forums for about a week now. Wondering if I should start on a lower tier to get my feet wet. Got no friends in game so am easy on were to go. I’m PST timezone. my weekends fall on Tues,Wed other then that if I get to liking the game a lot i’ll be a primetime player the rest of the week. So far been thinking about Eredon Terrace (from my understanding low ques)

P.s. I’ve played Daoc for about 5+yrs(more like10) then swtor/D3. Came here for some massive battles (in WvWvW )

The server populations are based on the number of accounts on the server and not how many people are actually online. There is never a queue to log on. One server with very high population server is just as good as the rest. If you don’t like the one you are on, then you can guest over to other servers to play.

The only real difference between servers is if you play WvW. You can only play WvW for your home server and they are matched up by rankings. There can be queues to join WvW maps depending on your server and the map(there’s 4 maps).
