… armor/weapon? New guides, not the ones before HoT since crafting changed a little.

I have both my professions to 500 with the recipies I need for Savaad gear and staff. But I was wondering if there were any guides(HoT) to make it easier?

Heard they added new mat to the crafting requirements for them.

Yes, craft a non-HoT ascended using what the cheapest exotic insignia/inscription is on the trading post. Also those account bound exotics salvage those and you might save some silver that way also.

Then change the stats in the forge to whatever HoT stats you want. Much, much cheaper.

To change your ascended weapon you need :

1 Ascended weapon
1 Anthology of Heroes
5 Gob of Ecto
1 Orichalcum Imbued Inscription of your choice

Thow into Mystic Forge and voila!

Ascended armor is same except for Intricate Gossamer Insignia.

Sounds like it is easier to use older guides to craft the cheapest items you can and then change to what you really want in the Mystic Forge.
