Hello, I was wondering if anybody could give me some tips for this encounter. I’m starting to wonder if I’m missing something, like a gadget in the room or a way to get the NPCs to join you in the fight. As it stands you are scaled to level 28 and your task is to kill an elite level 30 that has the thief’s leap attack, so no kiting as far as I can tell.

edit: For now I’m going to delay this until I’m fully equipped with level 30+ gear, that should help a bit.

Which version of Rakt are you fighting? Did you hold the demonstration or raid the comm facility? And what Profession are you? That way we’ll know what skills you have available.

I’m a Thief and we hacked the golems (so yeah raid the comm facility)

I did the other option and went Priory, so I can’t say for certain about the set up for that fight. I do know the other option involved hacked golems too though, and we completely pulverized him. Try to use control abilities, like Pistol/Pistol shooting through your Blinding Shot smoke cloud, your blind-inducing utilities or the stun/daze on Sword/Dagger. And let the NPCs swarm him while you shut down his damage. Unless that mission’s different, they should continue fighting with you. If you get in trouble, stealth out and don’t re-engage until you’ve healed a bit, letting NPCs take aggro.

Also, save your dodges for his leaping attack, if it’s that dangerous. Just try to kite the rest.

kite him as much at possible. And also you have to be same level with him not to get hit too much, i went there when i was lower level that was recommended and got wiped couple times, then leveled a bit and everything went flawless. As a necro I also attracted him with my pets, he keeps attackig pets 1st.

I went again as soon as I was level 30 and with the help of my elite skill it was easy. So if you’re having trouble I recommend delaying until you’re level 30.
