Guild Wars 2

So i’ll make this short:
Basically my brother and I was doing the personal story mode (20) together with me leading, he had a different choice but was still doing it with me. I left him before in the middle of the quest (he had to go to work and I am on college study break) and now he is at a part where he has to read a mail in his inbox but doesn’t have one.
I have the mail that he needs, but i have no idea what to do since he can’t go any further in the personal story since he doesn’t have the mail.

So is there any way to try to cancel that part and start over or at least a trick to re-send the mail?
Oh its the Liberation part (final part) of Shadows of the Past (part 2) of the personal story.

Your post is kind of confusing because you said you left but got the mail (because you finished?) but he had go to work, so…. he left and you completed?

But anyway, if you were the instance owner and left before it was over and he could accept the next step then he needs to redo that section.

From the Wiki page for that personal story step:

“According to this forum post by Jeffrey Vaughn there is a bug related to the final objective in this mission. You are supposed to read a mail, which will only sent to you when you are able to start the next mission (at level 30). So you are not able to finish this mission and get the reward until you reach level 30.”

This is a hold-over from the old way the personal story used to work, where each chapter would follow on automatically from the last one instead of being unlocked when you were the right level to do it.

Well we were doing the quests together but it was late, so we went to bed and in the morning he had to go to work while i stayed home and just finished it up.

Well i’m 49 now but he’s 26 so when he hits 30 if the post above me is correct, it should work. Thanks for the help
