I am looking for that thing and I farmed for 2 hours two nights ago and another hour the next day. I have 227% MF with food, my ascended amulet infusion, and halloween tools.

I can go even higher with birthday/celebration(100%) and Gem store MF booster (50%) and laurelate booster (30%), guild buff (10%?) and hero banner (15%) and possibly wvw outnumbered (15%?) and wintersday event buff (30%?) for over 500% MF.

I have not seen one of these collection starter items drop yet.

-Is there a trick to it?
-Enemy level?
-Location?
-WvW?
-Risen, Toxic, or Normal krait?
-Specific Krait class? Neross or Deimoss or w/e?
-Champion Boss only? Blood Witches in Kessex and Timberline?

Any idea on how to find the unlocking item will be greatly appreciated. You know how to contact me in game.

Any krait. Just kill as many as possible. Go to a starter zone, since it’s easier and faster to kill them. I got mine in Caledon.

I got one from the krait in EB randomly passing by them, pure RNG luck for these items sadly.

I got mine by killing Krait while waiting for teq. Can’t remember how many times but less than 10 and did not spend more than 15 minutes each time. But as was said RNG is RNG.

I think Risen Krait do NOT drop the item, so make sure you are killing Krait and not Risen Krait.

Yeah, risen krait won’t count because they’re technically Risen, not Krait. So, kill any other krait types, and pray to RNGesus.

The krait at the tower under the champ and by the quaggen are all regular, only at the beach are they risen.
