Is there anyway to inspect another player to find out what they are and what they have?

Short of asking them, no. You may click on them to see their race/gender level (only effective lvl?) and profession.

I think you will find a lot of players don’t care if you put it nicely and will just tell you.

Thanks…..I don’t have a lot of experience with MMO’s….I played SWTOR and could look at another player and see all their armor and weapons.

Yeah it’s a common thing in most MMOs, but i think they left it out so people wouldn’t be criticized about their equipment choices.
