As we all know when creating a character you can choose their appearance, usually along the lines of hair, skin, tattoos color etc..

And you can do this in game by some form of shop or purchase item you can acquire to change the way you look later at some point.

Is arena.net going to implement this feature into GW2?

That is not possible, even the highest asura will only be about half the size of the lowest possible human or so

Wouldn’t see why not… they just need to work on more important things in the game currently. Functionality takes precedence over cosmetics. If I remember correctly it took almost a year for Aion to have plastic surgery tickets and gender change in their shop.

But with a Might buff “I feel six feet tall!”
Don’t sell the asura too short, we’re tall where it counts.

Will it be possible down the road to change your characters appearance in game for some kind of fee ?

I doubt it, since ArenaNet values their personal story system. Being able to change your character’s appearing at a whim could diminish immersion.

Get real man, this is a business. They know that stuff like a character remodel or rename kit are usually the top selling digital goods in most other MMOs and they surely aren’t going to lose out on that profit based on the principle of preserving immersion.

Nobody is forcing anyone to change their character’s appearance but they wouldn’t deny the opportunity to someone who would want to do so, especially if they could make 10 or 15 dollars each time.

This is a good idea. I do regret making certain selections when I created my character.

I Agree it would be nice to be able to change my height face and hair.
