Im an ele and currently lvl40 now, I have karma 25k now, I’m not quite sure which set to wear, or should I just buy the cheap gears from TP, since I lvl up pretty fast, but I rly like the tier 1 weapon’s appearance, it costs 9800, which is a lot, should I save karma up to lvl 80 <.< its so confused, btw I like that winged armor set so much!! I wanna transmute them on.

Yes, if you like the skins and looks of them and to be proud of.
I just finished my journey for the wicked T3 cultural armor, and have some kind of accomplishments.

Purely cosmetic.
Buy at your own concern.
If you want to save for karma, do daily achievement.
It gives you around 4k karma for 1 jug of liquid karma,7k with karma booster.

umm, how to get transmute stones actually XD, (except buying them by gems) sry I just started to play this game 2 days ago, I only have 3 now by completing Queensdale map

By exploring. Completing each map (hearts/vista/waypoints/interest points/skill points) is a guaranteed 3 transmute stones per map. They are also obtained from random drops. Theres a very small chance you can get fine transmute stones instead (for max lvl gear) and those are valuable. i currently have 200+ transmute stones after 100% exploration and 24 fine transmute stones

If they look cool to YOU, go for it. I can question their usefullness as you climb to level cap, but skins are skins, and some of them are decent.

Well, in this game getting the best possible gear is very easy, getting the looks you want is the ’’hard’’ part. Id say go for it if you like it and you think you are going to stick to that skin for a while. Personally I have several armors with the same stats but different look just so I can change around once in a while

I’d say save up the karma, and don’t forget doing your dailes. I just finished leveling my mesmer to 80, bought some green auction gear at 10-15 level intervals and dinged 80 with about 220000 karma, enough to buy 5 pieces of Armaggedon gear straight of the bat. Even with the money spent on gear during leveling I had about 20 gold ready for other nice gear and dyes (I don’t craft).

Cultural Armors/Weapons can be really cool if it goes with your look, personally I can’t imagine my Sylvari without it.
So go for it if it has a look you like.
I’m saving karma now for the tier 3 cultural weapons for her- she is only lvl 38 so she still has a way to go.

I would save your karma until you’re 80. At that point you can use it to buy max exotic karma gear in Orr. You will also find yourself constantly upgrading your gear while still leveling, so it will be a waste of transmutation stones to change the skins of your gear every 5 levels.
