So i recently started working towards good looking armor and found this set that i found fitting for my guardian. It has a barbaric/gladiator helm, the chestplate and legguards from Arah, Koss pauldrons and the gauntlets and boots from the karma merchants around orr (not sure if i should use them because they are too lightly colored) but i dont know what dyes i could use. I included pictures of my armor previewed without dyes.
If anyone has some nice ideas please let me know,

I can think of a lot of dyes that could work with that, so I’d say the specific choices are up to you, but here’s some general points.

There’s a lot of detail on the armour itself, which means I’d recommend choosing contrasting colours (one dark and one light/bright) so that doesn’t get lost. If you dye it black with black and black accents (especially if you go for a ‘true’ black like Abyss or Shadow Abyss) you’ll lose a lot of that detail.

But at the same time you don’t want to use too many colours or it will look a mess.

So I’d choose either just 2 dyes or 2 sets of 2 (like 2 dark blues and 2 white/silver), maybe a 3rd colour for small details. Then play around with different arrangements of them to see what looks good.

Depends on if you’re going for realistic or anime, shiny or battered. I think Charred dye and it’s set would look good with those pieces but it’s not very colorful. The enameled set would have a similar burned or faded look with more color options but they get expensive. You should just preview them in your character tab in the Dye options to see what they look like.
