Guild Wars 2

Firstly, if this is the wrong place to post this, then apologies – I think this is my first post on these forums!

I’ve just got my ranger to 60 and thought I’d buy some new gear. However, it appears the stats of power and precision seem to apply to the armour I’ve seen rather than the toughness and vitality I wanted.

How do I get the pieces I want or is this the way the game is designed i.e. to lead me down the power and precision path?

There is Jalis’ set with vitality major stat available at level 80 and Knight’s set with Toughness major. Given how counter-productive equipping defensive main gear is, lack of defensive sets is no surprise.
