Hi ppl!

I’ve been doing Ascalonian Catacombs for a while, since I find it a good way to lvl, and to have fun with other players.

Anyway, I now soon have enough Tears to buy me a full exotic AC armor, but I really dont like the way it looks on my Necro or Thief.

So, should I use the tears for something else, or just take the armor and transmute it to something I like? If the stats are good.

If you don’t like the armor, check if you like the weapons from AC. They’re quite popular.

AC has good stat sets for many classes if you don’t mind transmuting. Two of my alts are wearing transmuted AC gear.

Okay, thanks for the answers Think I’ll grab the armor maybe, and transmute it when I’m hitting 80 (lvl 68 now), and its better than my green and blue gear I wear at the moment. And will check out the weapons as well

By far the best thing to do with AC tokens is to buy 4 weapons of the same type and chuck them in the forge. You have a high chance to get a weapon worth a couple gold at least…
And even better, you have the chance to get a precursor which can be worth up to 800 gold!

One of the AC armour sets has soldier stats (p/t/v) that cannot be crafted, These are very useful stats, particularly if you want to run more difficult dungeons later. I strongly recommend you get at least one set of this.

As for looks, the AC female medium armour is one of the very few medium sets in the game that does not have a stupid trench coat. This and the crafted emblazoned medium are the only 2 armour sets my ranger uses for ‘looks’ …

If you keep running AC, you have the possibility of getting the recipe for the Collossus Fang (Exotic Jewelry – Lv80). It’s very good. But it requires 200 tears to craft.

If you truly don’t want the armor or weapons, you can always hold out for that, too.

I buy level 80 armor, and either distribute them to alts, or MF them.

as Callum said, that’s what I do.
with the higher level dungeons, I prefer to buy the lvl 68+ rares and salvage them. But AC is too low a level for that, so lvl 80 exotic weapons into the forge it is. from 840 tokens you get a ~3g weapon with chance at a precursor. (use several different item types to produce a random item type)

I think I’ll look into bri’s suggestion :P I didn’t even notice them before but I’ll give them a look now.
